Garden of the Gods Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado is such a wonderful wedding venue. With sweeping panoramas of The Garden of the Gods National Landmark nestled against the gorgeous backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, the views are hard to beat.
Christine and Kyle traveled to Colorado Springs from Texas to host a beautiful destination wedding to celebrate their love for each other. With every interaction between them, the joy they find together was tangible.
The September weather was perfect the day of the wedding, drenching sunlight onto the spectacular venue. The day was filled with lovingly crafted details, from the stunning flower arrangements by The Olive + Poppy, to the custom made cufflinks Christine gifted to Kyle.
Beloved friends and family basked in the warm fall sunshine as Christine and Kyle exchanged touching vows.. Their sweet little dog acted as the ring bearer, which was, of course, a huge hit.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a delicious cocktail hour on the outdoor patio while being serenaded with live music provided by the band The Raising Cane. The couple had photos taken with their loved ones around the venue, and we spent some time photographing near the reflecting pool. The reflecting pool is one of my favorite features of this venue, because it allows for such incredible reflections of the spectacular surroundings, as you can see below.
Cocktail hour was followed by dinner, sweet first dances, and toasts given by the couples’ friends and families. The speeches elicited both sentimental tears and hearty belly laughs from the guests.
The dance party that followed was filled with brilliant smiles, lots of laughter, and swinging dance moves. This day dedicated to Christine and Kyle’s love was one to remember
