It was one of those golden autumn days in Boulder, Colorado, where the leaves clung to their vibrant hues for just a little while longer—a perfect backdrop for Eric and Lauren’s fall wedding at Gold Hill Inn. The moment I arrived at Gold Hill Inn, I felt the kind of excitement that comes only when you know something truly beautiful is about to unfold. The Blue bird lodge, alive with laughter and an undercurrent of nervous energy, was buzzing with the couple’s friends and family, each one eager to support and celebrate.
As I set up for Eric and Lauren’s first look, I headed toward the aspen grove, a perfect spot that they had chosen for this intimate moment. The sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting a dappled glow that seemed almost magical. I could already imagine the emotion that would fill the air when they saw each other for the first time.
After the first look, we headed next door to Gold Hill Inn for the ceremony. Arriving at the beer garden, nestled in the picturesque hills. Lauren’s grandfather, a dignified figure with a voice warm enough to melt the autumn chill, presided over the ceremony.
