Kylee and Aaron, like so many of my 2020 couples had a completely different wedding planned for this year. These two picked the perfect venue nestled in the mountains of Estes Park, Co at Black Canyon Inn and throughout 2019 and early 2020 we talked all about how the day would look, their timeline, the party, the music. everything.

Then march came, and well…we all know what happened next. but these magical beings decided that their marriage story wouldn’t be cancelled or rescheduled…it would move states and be scaled down to vip’s only. We were able to move things around, and make this absolutely magical day happen! Backyard weddings hold a special place in my heart, and this day was no different. Aaron’s aunts gorgeous home/property hosted the dreamiest june backyard wedding for these two. They chose a couple handfuls of the most important people and had a super heartfelt afternoon ceremony after a rainy morning in Bend, Oregon. The property was beyond perfect with so many beautiful trees, a little lake, and views for days.

In light of everything thats happened this year, this day in Bend for Kylee and Aaron was a highlight. I enjoyed so much getting to witness their love story, belly laugh along to hilarious toasts by their best of the bests and shimmy alongside some really great dance moves. It was worth every second of the 20 hour drive at 8 months pregnant (truly).
